Connect VPNBook in Android (Smart Prepaid) Updated 7/31/13

Many thanks to drwang12 for posting her new thread entitled Connect FEATVPN Installer in Android Mobiles (Smart Prepaid) 060413 and this post is to teach us how to connect vpnbook in a android devices, when you search google for vpn for android theres so much result, but this post is the easiest of them all, even your android device is root or unroot this will work. Sorry i dont have a screenshot, later on i will update this and give you a sc For the update, i also post a tutorial of vpnbook for windows entitled Tutorial: Connect VPNBook in Smart Prepaid just read it here: http://www.phfreeinternet.com/

REQUIREMENTS:

> Smart prepaid simcard 3g activated.

> apn > http.globe.com.ph

> mobile with android versions 2.1 through version 4 (root or unroot)

> memorycard

> PC for way of transporting files to memorycard

PROCEDURES:

1. Download

If you have Android 2.x or 3.x, then download eclair-2013-01-23.apk:

If you have Android 4.x or later, then download ics-2013-01-23.apk:

and paste to your memorycard then install later in your android.

To be able to install featvpn you need to set your android Check "unknown SOurces"

> settings > applications > check "unknown sources"

2. Download also vpnbook_featvpndrwang12.zip and extract the zip file "vpnbook_featvpndrwang12" folder anywhere in your memorycard

3. After you installed FEATVPN > Click setup > wait until the test completed

4. Click tunnels > then add >

5. Click Load

6. Then choose add all

7. Then back to tunnels > connect > input account

Username: vpnbook

Password: rUt58sce

Check regularly this website for the user and pass:

8. wait until connected. done.

Take Note: if your a Android 4.x or later user, make sure that in the apn setting you use is ipv6 internet protocol.

The tutorial below is credited to shadeyou.com for teaching us on how to connect android via shadeyou vpn to have free internet access in all android apps. For Luzon just try any server if you can connect, and if your from visayas and mindanao location the working server is United Kingdom UDP 53 and Netherlands UDP 53, i have also post it to connect in any globe tattoo usb openline modem and smart bro usb modem via shadeyou vpn here: ShadeYOU VPN Working for VISMIN Location Smart Bro

1. Go in Apps and run application "Play Market".

2. Locate the application "OpenVPN Connect".

3. Install application.

4. For download configuration files you need to register and login. After login go to "Your Profile".

password : symbianize

5. Download the archive with configuration files.

6. Unzip the archive to any folder.

7. Run OpenVPN Connect.

8. Press the "Menu".

9. Select "Import".

11. Go to the directory with configuration files and select the desired connection. Available connections: Russian server ~~(TCP-443, UDP-25000, UDP-53); Ukrainian server (TCP-443, UDP-25000).~~

12. Enter your username and password specified during registration and press "Connect".

Steps / Procedure:

- Create your Own account at https://www.finchvpn.com/register/, I suggest register your own because we cannot use shared accounts in this tutorial, and make sure to activate it by clicking the emailed link by finchVPN to your email address, Log-in your account then find ‘download’ page then download the FinchVPN For OpenVPN Config

- Choose from Windows and Android system, both are working but just click and choose 1

> Then Download the Port 53 over UDP (DNS over UDP), and check the box for Include my username and password (API KEY) in the config

> Extract the downloaded OpenVPN Config at the openvpn folder in your SDCARD

> Open your android app openvpn settings then edit the config file from:

Notes: - 3gb/month lang po ang limit ng finchvpn pero pwede po kayong gumawa ng account maski ilang beses sa isang araw..kaya kung may 5accounts kayo meron na kayong 15gb na bandwidth.
